Nscale investor Aker calls Microsoft contract loss minor ahead of $35bn IPO
Microsoft "minor contract" loss, says Nscale key investor
Aker ASA CEO Øyvind Eriksen called Microsoft's cancellation of a UK data centre lease with Nscale a relatively minor contract in a larger portfolio and said the termination was expected. Aker holds about 23% of Nscale, valued at roughly $3.31bn, as Nscale targets a $35bn US IPO. Nscale is reported to be close to a multibillion-dollar compute deal with Anthropic.
