Descope launches Envoy to let consumer apps accept personal AI agents as users
Descope launched Envoy, a service that lets consumer websites and apps accept personal AI agents acting for customers without changing how people sign in. Each agent gets its own identity and a session cryptographically bound to it, built on the draft Personal Agent Protocol from Meta and Sierra. Envoy runs alongside existing identity systems, and GoFundMe and GoodRx are among the launch partners.
