Tool that identifies AI-generated material helps Pixel Systems raise €2.7 million
Swedish startup Pixel Systems raised €2.7 million ($3.1 million) in a seed round led by Unconventional Ventures at a pre-money valuation of about €18 million ($21 million). Pixel detects AI-generated and manipulated images and documents using several forensic methods, reporting a 99.98 percent detection rate in internal tests, and reached €89k ($100k) in contracted recurring revenue three weeks after commercial launch. The company was founded in 2026 in Stockholm and targets insurance, FinTech, e-commerce and professional services.
Pixel's seed round and early revenue show investors backing AI-content detection as verification infrastructure for insurance and fintech workflows.
