Leipzig-based JawBuddy raises €818k pre-Seed to reduce jaw pain and bruxism

JawBuddy, a Leipzig HealthTech startup, raised €818k in a pre-Seed round led by HALBZEIT to fund a clinical trial and push toward insurer reimbursement for its jaw pain and bruxism app. The app, a Class I medical device under EU MDR, guides physiotherapist-designed home routines and tracks progress via smartphone camera. A 130-patient multicentre RCT starts in December 2026, with a statutory insurer care contract due in early 2027.
