Pliant raises $80M Series C to open B2B payments to AI agents
Pliant raises $80M from Seaya Nova and Speedinvest to open B2B payments to AI agents
Pliant raised an $80M Series C led by Seaya Nova and Speedinvest and has passed $100M in annual recurring revenue. The Berlin fintech plans to expand into the US and Canada and build agentic payments, connecting outside agents such as Claude or ChatGPT through the Model Context Protocol with permissions, spending controls and audit trails.
Pliant's $80M round and $100M ARR show how licensed payment infrastructure is being positioned for AI agents, with Stripe, Visa and Mastercard pursuing the same opening.
