Mach9 raises $34M after pivoting to AI CAD software
Mach9 raised a $34M Series A co-led by First Round Capital and Bessemer Venture Partners after pivoting from inspection robotics to AI CAD software for civil engineering. The company says its in-house models turn laser scan and image data into survey-grade geometry, making plan drafting 10 times faster, and its private beta has drawn nearly 100 customers across more than 2,500 projects.
The funding and customer numbers show how a hardware startup moved into AI CAD for civil engineering, where survey drafting is still slow and labor-intensive.
